Regenerative Options for Hair and Scalp Concerns
Thinning hair and scalp concerns can be addressed with several regenerative treatments, used alone or planned together as a course. Two of them, PRP and PRF, are prepared from a small sample of your own blood. Exosome treatments may also be included within a scalp and hair rejuvenation programme.
None of these treatments suits every client, and none produces the same outcome in everyone. Assessment matters: we review your medical history, examine your scalp and discuss what is realistic before recommending a plan.

Every treatment begins with a consultation with our doctor-led team.
PRP for Hair & Scalp
Platelet-rich plasma is prepared from a small sample of your own blood and injected into the scalp as part of a course of treatments. It is our most established regenerative option for hair and scalp rejuvenation.

PRF for Hair & Scalp
Platelet-rich fibrin is also prepared from your own blood, but processed differently so that naturally occurring growth factors are released more gradually from a fibrin structure. It may be used for the scalp as part of a personalised course.

Exosome Treatments
Exosome treatments may be included in scalp and hair rejuvenation programmes as part of a wider plan, with the application method determined by the product protocol and your individual suitability.

These treatments are not mutually exclusive. Depending on your assessment, we may plan a course that combines them, for example:
All combinations are subject to consultation, suitability and an individual treatment plan.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about hair and scalp rejuvenation at our Oldbury clinic.
Which treatment is best for thinning hair?
There is no single answer that applies to everyone. PRP is a well-established starting point for many clients, while some plans combine PRP, PRF or exosome treatments. The right approach depends on your scalp assessment, your medical history and your goals.
Can I treat my hair and face in the same appointment?
Often, yes. For PRP, we may prepare two tubes and use one portion for scalp injections and the other with microneedling for the face, where that is appropriate for you. This allows both concerns to be addressed within one personalised appointment.
How long before I see a difference?
Changes develop gradually over months and across a course of treatments rather than after a single session. Response varies between individuals and cannot be guaranteed, which is why we review progress as your course continues.
Will I need ongoing treatment?
Many clients have an initial course followed by maintenance sessions. The schedule depends on your response and is reviewed with you rather than fixed in advance.
Is treatment suitable for everyone with hair loss?
No. Some causes of hair loss do not respond to these treatments, and certain medical conditions and medications may make them unsuitable. If we do not think treatment will help you, we will say so at consultation.
Does scalp treatment hurt?
Scalp injections can feel sharp briefly. Most clients tolerate the treatment well and it is over quickly, and we can discuss comfort measures at your appointment.
