A Gel Prepared From Your Own Blood
Biofiller is made in clinic from components of your own blood. A specific processing method is used to create a gel-like preparation, which can then be placed into selected facial areas following assessment.
It is important to understand that biofiller is not the same as conventional hyaluronic acid dermal filler. It is a different product, made in a different way, with a different character and duration. At consultation we explain both options honestly so you can decide which, if either, suits your goals.

Every treatment begins with a consultation with our doctor-led team.
How It Works
A blood sample is taken in clinic and processed so that the required components can be separated. These are then prepared using a defined method that produces a soft, gel-like material.
The prepared gel is placed into the planned facial areas. Because it is derived from your own blood rather than a manufactured product, the volume achievable and how long it lasts differ from conventional dermal filler, and this is discussed with you before treatment.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about biofiller. If you are weighing it against conventional dermal filler, a consultation is the clearest way to compare them.
How is biofiller different from dermal filler?
Conventional dermal filler is a manufactured hyaluronic acid gel. Biofiller is prepared in clinic from components of your own blood. They behave differently in terms of volume, firmness and how long they last, so they are not directly interchangeable. We explain the differences before you decide.
How long does it last?
Biofiller is not permanent and generally does not last as long as conventional dermal filler. Duration varies between individuals and depends on the area treated, so we give you a realistic indication at consultation rather than a fixed figure.
Can it be used under the eyes?
It may be considered for that area, but only where individual assessment indicates it is appropriate. The under-eye area is delicate and is not suitable for every client or every product.
Is it suitable for everyone?
No. Certain medical conditions, blood disorders, some medications, pregnancy and breastfeeding may mean it is not appropriate. Your medical history is reviewed before treatment is agreed.
Can I have biofiller alongside PRP or PRF?
These treatments can be planned together as part of a personalised course, since all are prepared from your own blood. The right combination and sequence depends on your assessment.
How soon will I see the result?
There is usually some immediate change, but swelling in the first days can make this misleading. The settled appearance is clearer once swelling resolves, and results vary between individuals.
